Show Utah's Annual Easter Seal Campaign to Help -Crippled Children Under Way, Goal $50,080 The annual Easter seal campaign cam-paign to help .Utah's crippled children is well under way, with a mailing of more than 186,000 envelopes containing sheets of 1952 Easter Seals. The campaign cam-paign will continue through April 13, and a quota of $50,000 is expected to be reached by that time. In urging those who have received re-ceived their Easter Seals to send in their contributions immediately. immediate-ly. Kenneth Roth. camDaien chairman, noted that more than 91 of all funds received are used toward treatment of the cerebral palsied in this state. "The increasing number of crippled children in our state need continuing services. We know it costs more to supply the proper training for a cerebral palsied child than it does for any other type of illness," Mr. Roth added. "We are confident our citizens are willing to lend a helping hand to help finance these services ser-vices and to expand them to reach children now not receiving receiv-ing held," he continued. Nationally, Utah's effort in education, ed-ucation, and therapeutic treatment treat-ment has been proclaimed as one of the outstanding in the nation. Last Summer, many of the country's outstanding therapists thera-pists were brought to Salt Lake City's University of Utah to dem-ontsrate dem-ontsrate the latest techniques. Those who have received their Easter seals, are urged to send in their contributions at once, to help treatment for Utah's crippled crip-pled children. |
