Show Coaches Club to Elect Officers And Change Bylaws At a- meeting of the Cedar City Coaches club, boosters of athletic athle-tic teams at the Branch Agricultural Agricul-tural college, held at El Escal-ante Escal-ante hotel Tuesday evening, nominations for the annual election elec-tion were made and a resolution passed to make a minor revision in the by-laws of the organization. organiza-tion. Ballots listing the nominees and the proposed bylaw revision will be mailed to members of the club during the coming week with new officers to be named by April 1. Nominations were made as follows: For Head Coach: Bill Fritz, Ray Lindquist, Ren Taylor and Dr. J. S. Prestwich. For Assistant Coach: Bill Dov-er, Dov-er, Alex Angelo, Forrest Anderson. Ander-son. For Water Boy: Ray Knell, Giles Bolander, Arnold Anderson, Rudy Iverson. For Board member, three-year term: Clarence Miller, Ray Lee, Ken Imlay, Reed Berrett, Reed Bradshaw. Retiring officers are Benny Quinn, head coach; Ren Taylor, assistant coach; Bill Dover, water boy; Dee Cowan, board member. Holdover officers are Ed South-wick South-wick and Morgan Rollo, board members. The change in the bylaws provides pro-vides that the retiring head coach shall serve as a member of the board of directors for a period of one year. In ifddition to the business conducted con-ducted at the meeting, the members mem-bers enjoyed a number of sports films, one featuring activities of the Los Angeles Rams, professional profes-sional football team, and skiing films, professional and amateur. A buffet luncheon was served to the members who attended. |
