Show Company Lists National Parks Schedule of Tours The Union Pacific Railroad company has announced the schedule of tours to the Natinal parks of this area for the sum' mer tourist season. Beginning June 15 and running through Sept. 5, the tours, which start daily from Cedar City and are conducted by the Utah Parks company, offer a wide range of sightseeing and vacation opportunities. oppor-tunities. The tours range from a one-day one-day trip through Zion National park to a five-day excursion through Zion, Grand Canyon and Bryce National parks, Kaibab Forest and Cedar Breaks National monument. Fares from Cedar City include transportation, meals and lodging. Prices have been held this year to 1951's same low level. Tour 1 is a five-day journey to Zion National park over the spectacularly scenic Mt. Carmel highway and on to Grand Canyon, Can-yon, Kaibab Forest, Bryce Canyon and Cedar Breaks. Cost is $73.00 Tour 1-A, also five days, takes the visitor to the same points the Tour 1 at a cost of $66.75. Tour 2 is a three-day excursion excur-sion through Zion, Bryce and Cedar Breaks at $43.50. Tour 2-A covers the same points as Tour 2 in three days, but on a slightly different schedule sched-ule for $37.25. Tour 3 is a two-day trip to Zion, Kaibab, Grand Canyon and Cedar Ce-dar Breaks for $39.50. Tour 4 is a one-day trip through Zion for $16.25. Guests may take additional stopovers at any of the standard lodpes in the National parks for $8.25 a day. American plan. |
