Show No Call Received For Inductees During Coming Month There will be no calls for men from Iron county to report for Induction Into military service during the month of April, according ac-cording to E. B. Dalley, clerk of the Iron County Selective Service board. However, a call has been received for another group of men to report for pre-induction physical examinations, he reports. re-ports. A call for seven men to report for physical examination on April 9, has been received, Mr. Dalley reports, but no one who is under 20 years of age is to be ordered to report. Mr. Dalley also reports that the board is now busy re-examining the status of all men who have been deferred from Induction because be-cause of dependents. Questionnaires Question-naires are being sent out to all men in this category, he says, and it is imperative that the questionnaires be filledout and returned. He states that considerable consid-erable difficulty has been encountered en-countered because of the fact that many registrants have moved and failed to notify the board of their new address. This places the registrants in a delinquent de-linquent category that could deprive de-prive him of his deferment rights. Mr. Dalley appeals to every registrant to notify the board, in writing, immediately upon any change of address, or any change of status. |
