Show Proposed Building Program Gets Approval of Church Arnold O. Gurr, counselor In the Parowan Third ward bishopric, bishop-ric, and chairman of the Third ward-Parowan Stake building committee has been informed by the presiding bishop's office of the L D S church that the proposed pro-posed building program of that ward and stake has been approved. ap-proved. The building program includes a stake and ward recreation hall to be built to the west and joining join-ing onto the present third ward chapel, which is the only hall in the stake at the present time which can accommodate conference confer-ence crowds. The recreation hall will accommodate accom-modate a regulation size basketball basket-ball court for M-Men, Explorer and Scout uses, a commodious stage for drama productions, and provisions for use of the hall as a banquet room for stake and ward functions. In addition the ward Relief Society will get new and adequate quarters, and the Third ward will get much needed class rooms for the auxiliary organizations' or-ganizations' use. The building will be started as soon as the ward and stake have raised the necessary money mon-ey to finance their portion of the cost. |
