Show NEWS FROM KANARRAVILLE Mr. and Mrs. Rowen Williams i spent the week end in Salt Lake j City, having gone to attend the wedding of Mrs. Williams' sister, Jackie Struble, who was married in the Sa,'t Lake Temple March 14, to David Dixon of Salt Lake City. James Lovell has gone to Las Vegas, Nev., to seek employment. Mrs. Iona Livermore received word that her father, John Henry Williams, was confined to a hospital hos-pital in Wyoming with pneumonia. pneumon-ia. Mr. and Mrs. Williams were returning home from a month's visit in Canada with relatives when he was stricken. The Boy Scouts held a pie sale at the church last Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Vivian Prince and son Lowell were Sunday visitors here. Dale .Christensen who spent 30 days home on rotation reported at Camp Carson, Colo., last week. His parents received word that he had been sent to a camp in Indiana. Miss Joan Sandstrom of Santa Ana, Calif., has been visiting here for several days at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Rowen Williams. Miss Faye Reeves of Salt Lake City visited with her grandparents, grandpar-ents, Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Reeves. She was accompanied by her friend Grant B. Wiser of Salt Lake City and his father, John Andrew Wiser of Logan, Utah. We had another snow storm over the week end. Everything is so wet it makes it hard on livestock. live-stock. Soirye owners have had their sheep sheared and some are lambing. Besides the snow, the storm has been accompanied by quite high wind. |
