Show Civic Clubs to Hold Monthly Meeting AtSalinaMarch29 Announcement has been made that the monthly meeting of the Associated Civic Clubs of Southern South-ern and Eastern Utah will be held at Salina on Saturday, March 29. Many important matters mat-ters pertaining to roads, water, and flood control in the area served by the association will be discussed during the meeting. Representatives of various state and federal agencies will be in attendance, including Francis Fran-cis McGregor, army engineer; Dr. George A. Spendlove and Dr. R. C. Dalgleish, state department of health; Perry Egan, state fish and game commissioner, and Miles Romney, executive secretary secre-tary of the Utah Mining association. associa-tion. There will also be representatives repre-sentatives from the State Engineer's Engi-neer's office, Utah Water and Power board, Bureau of Reclamation, Reclama-tion, National Parks, Forest Service Ser-vice and the Utah Manufacturers Manufactur-ers association. The executive meeting will be held in the forenoon, and the general membership meeting will be held at 2 p. m. A banquet will be held at 7:30 p. m. at which Dr. George A. Spendlove will be the principal speaker. |
