Show Death Takes Mother Of College Director Dr. Royden C. Braithwaite, director, di-rector, College of Southern Utah, was called to Manti on Aug. 10 because of the death of his mother, moth-er, Mrs. Eva Tuttle Braithwaite, 04. Mrs. Braithwaite died at her home in Mantl late Wednesday night, Aug. 10. She was born in Manti on Feb. 18, 1891, a daughter of William and Emma Bench Tuttle, and had resided there her entire life. She was married to Charles G. Braithwaite on Sept. 10, 1910, in the Manti Temple. Always an active ac-tive church worker, she had been particularly active in Primary and Relief Society work. Mrs. Braithwaite is surved by her husband, Manti; three sons, Dr. Braithwaite, Cedar City; Reed Braithwaite, Los Angeles; William T. Braithwaite, Manti. Also surviving are five grandchildren, grand-children, four brothers and two sisters. Funeral services were conducted conduct-ed Saturday in the Mantl L D S Ward chapel, and burial was made In the Mantl cemetery. |
