Show Ruthor to Address Audience Concerning Meetings S j ' 1 DR. HAROLD GLEN CLARK Are you planning to attend or conduct a meeting this year? Yes? Then this article is for YOU. The Cedar Stake Special Inter-est Inter-est Committee has arranged for a special meeting to be held at the Cedar Stake House Sunday evening, Aug. 21 with the featured featur-ed speaker to be Dr. Harold Glen Clark, author of a recently published pub-lished book entitled, "Millions of Meetings." This meeting, it was pointed out by Mrs. Newel Wasden, co-chairman, co-chairman, is for everybody. It Is not for special church groups. Civic leaders', organizers and anyone Interested is invited to attend this special meeting. Dr. Clark will direct his remarks re-marks to the significance of meetings and the importance of making them count. He will answer an-swer most frequently asked questions such as don't we have too many meetings? How can we get more accomplished in our meetings? How do you get people peo-ple to come out to meetings? Do they have to hold them so long? "Our stake," Mrs. Wasden said, "is most fortunate in having Dr. Clark take time out from his busy schedule to meet with us Sunday evening." Dr. Clark is a graduate of Brigham Young University; Uni-versity; he received his master's degree from the University of Southern California, and his doctor's doc-tor's degree from the George Washington University He has been a personnel aid for the department de-partment of Agriculture of the United States and he has held many high positions with the L D S Church. At the present time he is director of the extension ex-tension division of B Y U. "His address to us," Mrs. Wasden Was-den said, "will be based on practical prac-tical experience, and should help us make any meeting more enjoyable en-joyable and important." The meeting will be the last In a series of three sponsored by the Special Interest Committee this summer. Dr. Rymal G.
