Show Heart Ailment Claims Bevan Bradshaw I fx- . i BEVAN BRADSHAW Vf Funeral services were conducted conduct-ed in the College Ward chapel Monday afternoon for Reed Bevan Bev-an Bradshaw, 23, who died Friday, Fri-day, Aug. 12, of a heart ailment from which he had suffered for many years. Mr. Bradshaw was born In Hur-, ricane on Oct. 16, 1931, a son of Reed and lone Woodbury Bradshaw, Brad-shaw, but had spent most of his life in Cedar City, where he had been active In community affairs, af-fairs, particularly In working in such activities as scouting, church affairs and recreational activities. He attended Cedar City schools and was a graduate of the College of Southern Utah and the Utah State Agricultural Col-legf Col-legf in the field of business administration. ad-ministration. He had attended Brigham Young University and for a time resided In Provo where he was budget manager of Firestone Fire-stone Tire and Rubber Company. On Sept. 12, 1951 he married Marilyn Bringhurst in the St. George Temple. Surviving are his widow, a daughter, Merlinda; a son, Reed Brlce; his parents, one brother, Karl V., and two sisters, Joncal Bradshaw and Mrs. Carma Jolley. All are from Cedar City except Mrs. Jolley, who resides in Antimony. Anti-mony. The funeral services were conducted con-ducted by Bishop Vcrnee Frame. Speakers were A. W. Stephenson, Dr. J. S. Trestwich and Bishop Frame. Pi aver at the home was by Rulon Woodbury, invocation by Stake President Elwood Corry, benediction by Giles Bolander, and the grave was dedicated by Wm. E. Woodbury, Hurricane, grandfather of the deceased. The musical program included the opening song. "Take My Hand," by a ladies trio composed of Emma Warren, Elaine South-wick South-wick and Arna Wood, accompanied accompan-ied by Mrs. Bemella Jones; a violin vio-lin solo by Mrs. Werdna Gregor-son, Gregor-son, Pintura; and the closing song, "The Lord's Trayer," by the Lions quartet composed of Her-schel Her-schel Neeley, Gam Seegmiller, Howard Wood and Forrest Hunter, Hunt-er, accompanied by Reed Berrett, Prelude and postlude organ music mu-sic was by Mrs. Christie Bradshaw. |
