With play delayed during tournament tour-nament participation and be-cause be-cause of bad weather, action in the Pony League began to quicken quick-en again this week and it reached reach-ed its climax Wednesday when the leading two teams met in a pitchers' duel. On the mound for the winning Power nine was' Eric Gardner, strong right hander, who for the second time beat the league's leading strikeout king, Gary Anderson, An-derson, for Construction. Gardner posted a total of 14 strikeouts in the seven inning stint and al-cessary. al-cessary. If Power takes the win lowed only four scattered hits.
