Show Instructor Named ToCSU Science Department Dr. 'Royden C. Eraithwaite, director di-rector of try? College of Southern Utah, announced the appointment appoint-ment of Dr. Robert E. Brailsford to the faculty in the physical science department. , Dr. Brailsford is completing his doctorate at University of Utah in the field of physical metallurgy with a minor in fuej technology. He has been associated with Dr. H. J'dward Flanders and Dr. John R. Lewis of the department met-1 allurgy. Prior to his work there he received his B S degree from Brigham Young University, then accepted a position as research; chemist for Hooker Electronical' Company, Niagar Falls, N. Y. Dr. Brailsford returned to Brig-1 ham Young University and re-! ccived his MS degree in 1917. He accepted a teaching position there, and as assistant professor profes-sor of secondary education, has taught for five years. He has been active In church work. He fulfilled two missions one to the Northwestern States, and one to the Eastern States mission fields and was branch president at Niagara Falls' for the L D S Church. While in Provo and SaJt Lake City he served as superintendent of the Mutual Improvement Im-provement Association and the Sunday School respectively. Dr. and Mrs. Brailsford have a son, 10 years old. They are moving mov-ing from Salt Lake City to make their home in Cedar City. , |
