Show Racing Revival Planned By Association Horse racing will be revived in Cedar City this fall if plans of the Utah Racing Association can be carried out. At a recent meeting meet-ing of the association held at Fillmore, it was decided to attempt at-tempt to end the summer racing season with a meet to be held on the Cedar City track. Horsemen Horse-men throughout the state had indicated in-dicated that they were anxious to return to Cedar City for racing rac-ing if a meet can be arranged. Clarence Lamoreaux, who has been elected vice president of the association, reports that it has scheduled a three-day meet in Cedar City for Sept. 10, 11 and 12, if local organizations will sponsor it. This would be the last meet of the season. Meet Dates Set The first meet of the season will be held in Kanab on May 20, 21, and 22, with the following dates set for other meets: Spring-ville, Spring-ville, May 28, 29 and 31; Moroni, June 23 and 2G; Fillmore, July 2, 3 and 5. Panguitch, Julv 8, 9 and 10; Richfield, Julv 15, 16 and 17; Beaver, Juh 22, 23 and 21; Man-ti, Man-ti, Aug. 12, 13 and 15, and Pay-son, Pay-son, Sept. 3, 4 and 5. Mr. Lamoreaux reports that already al-ready several purses have been pledged for a Cedar City meet, indicating that it should not be too difficult to stage a really worthwhile meet here that would climax the season in Utah.
