To Appear March 28 Top Men, Women Wrestlers to Entertain Cedar Fans Under the sponsorship of the Cedar City Elks Lodge and the College of Southern Utah athletic department an outstanding wrestling wres-tling card of world famous men and women will be held in the fieldhouse on Friday, Mar. 26. Featured attraction of the evening eve-ning will be a tag-match with Carol Cook, Toledo, Ohio and Ruth Boatcallie, Bryan, Texas, world's tag team champions of 1953, scheduled to enter the ring against Carol Carota, Cincinnati, and Lilly Bitter of Newark, N. J. It will be the best two out of three falls with a one hour time limit. Preliminary event will pit Dave Reynolds, Orem, and pro-motor pro-motor of the card, against Treach Phillips of ColumbusMn one fall with a 20 minute time limit. Fans who have seen Dave in action ac-tion before know that the preliminary prelim-inary will be worth the price of admission. Semi-main event, a two out of three falls with an hour time limit will feature Sugy Haya-maka, Haya-maka, F Paso, Tex., against Mel Dove, Milwaukee. Sugy, inter-mountain inter-mountain junior heavyweight champion, will weigh in at approximately ap-proximately 205 pounds with Mel tipping the scales slightly below be-low an even 200 pounds. Admission prices will be $1.00 for ringside, $1.10 for general admission ad-mission and 75c for students. This price includes all taxes as well as the 10 cents per person fieldhouse admission. |
