Show 'Noel' exhibit featured The BountifulDavis Art Center presents the 1990 holiday exhibit "Noel," featuring original art by 78 talented Utah artists, that is temptingly temp-tingly priced up to $250. This is a major fundraiser for the art center and offers an opportunity to select special gifts at great prices for holiday giving. Exhibited works include watercolor and oil paintings, pain-tings, ceramics, jewelry, photographs and prints, sculpture, clothing accessories, wood carvings, carv-ings, fiber works and beautifully illustrated il-lustrated children's books. A Special Preview Soiree, which features first choice selection of the art and a festive buffet dinner, will take place Saturday, Nov. 17, 6 p.m. Five exciting prizes w ill be given away by drawing names from those in attendance. The donated prizes, valued from $30-$50 include: two tickets to a Jazz game; dinner for two at the Mandarin Restaurant in Bountiful; two tickets to a Utah Symphony concert; a framed print of Santa Clans done as a self-portrait self-portrait by LeConte Stewart; a Holiday Package consisting of a handmade ceramic bell, a children's Christmas book and puzzle. Harpist, Jucquelle Blair will play memorable favorites us wAi as holiday music. The cost is $20 per person, and reservations arc required by Tuesday, Tues-day, Nov. 13, as table seating in the gallery is limited. Call 292-0367. An opening reception, free to the public, to honor the artists, will be held Sunday, Nov. 18, 2-5 p.m. This show provides a grand opportunity op-portunity for creative and artistic gift giving as well as for the many artists to display their artistic talent and a wide variety of art mediums. Paintings, photographs and prints that have been purchased may be picked up from Friday, Dec. 21 thiough Monday morning, Dec. 24. The gallery will close at noon on Christmas Eve.
