Show PTSA meeting slated for BHS agers can learn to understand and live with each other. Dr. Barnard has held numerous professional positions in psychology psychol-ogy including an instructor at USU, psychology specialist for Sweetwater Sweet-water School District in Wyoming, and is presently with the McKay-Dee McKay-Dee Institute for Behavioral Medicine. Also that evening the PTSA will discuss the BHS requirements for curriculum, athletics, drill team, cheerleading and choir. In addition, the PTSA has formed a committee that has put together guidelines concerning high school expenses in regard to travel, dances, drill team, cheerleading, etc. Tnese guidelines will be presented for approval. There will be a general PTSA meeting at the Bountiful High School auditorium on Tuesday, Nov. 20, at 8 p.m. Those invited to attend are all Bountiful High School parents, administrators, teachers and especially parents who will have students attending Bountiful High School in the year 1991 with the new boundary change (West Bountiful and the 'L ' section). Linda L. Barnard, Ph.D., will speak on "Communicating with Teen-agers." She has a broad range of experience in helping adolescence ado-lescence and their parents resolve conflict and cope with the challenges of being a teen-ager. She will discuss ways parents and teen- |
