Show Wood to address chamber years wore two hats, as reporter and news anchor, for the NBC affiliate in Salt Lake. During that time he won several regional Emmy awards and also an award from the American Association Associa-tion of Historical Writers. He left Utah in 1984 to join WSB in Atlanta and then moved to New Orleans, La. at WDSU. An insight into the growth and direction of television journalism will be the subject of Terry Wood's speech to members of the Bountiful Area Chamber of Commerce at the regular membership meeting Wednesday, Nov. 2 1 at noon. Wood, who started his career in radio at a Dallas station, recently returned re-turned to KUTV Channel 2 in Salt Lake City as an anchorman. The public is invited to the luncheon lun-cheon meeting in the Pine Room of the Servus Drug. Cost of lunch will be $6. Wood has been a TV reporter for 22 years and has covered a wide variety of important events and topics. He was the first non-network non-network reporter to visit Poland after martial law was declared in that country. He produced a highlight documentary on Pope John Paul II 's visit to New Orleans, and another major story was reporting repor-ting on relief efforts for the African famiae.
