Show Statewide town meeting to be televised meeting is an unprecedented event for Utah and reflects the growing momentum of future-oriented strategic stra-tegic planning in our state. The creation of a public statement which broadly describes where Utah wants to find itself in 10 to 20 years represents rep-resents the first step in this process. We sincerely hope the citizens on Utah will attend the town meeting and utilize the vision statement for discussing such critical questions as: What do we want our state to be like in 20 years? What aspects of Utah do we want to change or enhance? What goals should we set for ourselves? What values do we share?"
