Show Business as usual at Cen terville Jr. High again" and a great year is what seems to be ahead! The last event on this month's agenda is the instrumental concert at CJH Oct. 25. Mr. Dunn has been holding many early morning practices. prac-tices. This activity is sure to be an excellent concert. Centerville in ail of its bustling is still determined to let its talents shine. By CHELLY GILES Centerville Junior High has been a bustling, busy place the past few weeks. Red Ribbon Week, girls' basketball, choral concert, instrumental in-strumental concert and most of all, the construction to the front of the building, have all been taking place. Construction to the front of the building has begun. There will be 10 new classrooms added, addition to the cafeteria and a stage room. The construction that was to begin this last summer was delayed due to contracting difficulties. Now contractor and workers will rush to get things done before the snow. So far, the cement has been poured and the additions to the school will soon be going up. Centerville students seem to not be as thrilled with the construction as the administration is. Surely students will be happy enough next year when all of them are sitting in the nice new classrooms. Red Ribbon week just concluded. Students showed real support toward our school and many other schools' efforts to teach about drugs. The choral concert that was held at VHS on Oct 18 was a complete success. The activity was kicked off by the men ' s choir, then the women's choir was the last group to perform. They were followed by the CJH madrigals. Concert choir was the last group to perform. But as difficult as it may have been, Mrs. Baker got all 350 students onto the VHS stage, and they all sang a beautiful piece of music.
