Show Layton News By RUBY JEWELL PRICE 544-2519 Ms. Karen Bezoski received an outstanding volunteer service award from Joint Action in Community Com-munity Service, Inc. Region VIII Job Corps Youth. Lamont V. Smith, son of the late Dr. Harold and Edith Smith, and his new bride, Denny Stewart, will make their new home in San Antonio, Anto-nio, Tex. Mrs. Ruby J. Price was a dinner guest at Clearfield Job Corps Tuesday, Tues-day, July 26. The food is prepared by students in training. Robert Romero, a former student of Mrs. Price's, is the instructor. Dr. and Mrs. Donald Carpenter will attend the Masonic Mason and the Eastern Star Society of Free Masons in Pueblo, Colo. Dennis Carpenter, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Carpenter, graduated gradu-ated from Weber State College and plans to enter medical school at the University of Utah in the fall. Michael Jordan of Los Angeles, Calif, is visiting his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Homer Washington for the summer. Stormi Lynn Eastman and her two sisters will spend several days visiting relatives and friends in West Valley City before school starts. Mrs. Debra Lemmon attended a family reunion and visited relatives in St. Louis, Mo. on Aug. 1. Eric Clark Felt, son of Dr. and Mrs. Roger B. Felt, has taken a vacation from medical school in Oklahoma to get married. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W.M. Ferdinand deLannoy. Last Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Robert Ward attended the College Ward services in Cache Valley as guests of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Ward. Former Kaysville residents Doug Parrish and his wife, Kaylene Chlarson, announce the birth of a son, born June 20, in Monroe, Connecticut, Con-necticut, where the family now resides. re-sides.
