Show Group plans celebration for living On Sunday, Aug. 14, a group of people in Salt Lake City will be saying "Yes to Life" by walking, talking, singing, and playing together. This is a gathering to which everyone is invited, all you have to do to participate is to say "yes" to your own life. Therefore, regardless of your religion, politics, poli-tics, age, race, or nationality, join them to affirm your own being and your potential for health, peace, love, freedom, prosperity, and creativity. By saying "Yes to Life" you are expressing your potential for creating creat-ing international peace in your lifetime. life-time. By expressing your potential for being healthy people, your capacity for giving and receiving unconditional love, your intention for harmonizing with the environment environ-ment and people, animals, and plants with whom we share our existence. ex-istence. Say "Yes to Life" is the slogan of a coast-to-coast campaign which began in San Francisco May 21 and will end in Washington, D C. on Nov. 1. Rev. PAGE time to focus on the God that exists within our brothers and sisters, instead in-stead of affirming what's wrong! with them and with the world around us." Jordan Park was chosen because of its location at the International Peace Gardens, where peace-' loving people of many nations have created their expressions of world peace and harmony. Community organizations and individuals are invited to participate partici-pate in this walk and event. Ways you can participate are to walk with a can of food to Jordan Park from any of four directions. Jordan Park is open from 7 a.m. until 11 p.m. with events scheduled there from noon until dark. You can also help plan the walk and the events in Jordan Park, to provide food on a donation basis, and to provide other services such as transportation, transporta-tion, coordination, first aid, music, clean-up, etc. Those who cannot join are invited in-vited to "Say yes to life" by uniting in meditation, prayer, affirmation, and celebration. All churches and other spiritual organizations are invited in-vited to recognize and honor this Sunday, Aug. 14.
