The hearing on the petition of the Utah Light & Traction company for permission to. remove the j Center afreet ear tracks and to discon- j timie service on that line has been set for 10 a. m., Juno 24. The hearings on tho protest of the Salt Lake real estate dealers against the Utah Power & Lieht company has been set for 10 a. m., June 13. In this petition the real estate men are complaining because property owners must pay for the extension ex-tension of power lines in subdivisions about the city. The petition of the Bamberger Electric Elec-tric railroad and the Oregon Short Lino to put in a grade crossing at Ninth North and Fourth West streets, has. been set for June 12, and the petition of the Short Uine to put in a grade crossing 'at Third South and Second West streets will bo heard at the -same time. The petition of the Salt Lake, and Utah railroad tor permission to increase passenger rates will be beard at 10 a. m., June 17. Hearings on several applications to run stage lines will bo held this month. Them will -bo -a hearing on the application ol J. W. Jones to operate a siage line between be-tween Magna and Garfield, and of Hike Pallota to run between Magna and Salt-air Salt-air at 11 a. m., next Monday. The following fol-lowing dav there will be hearings on the petition of J. G. Jacobs to operate a ino between Park City and Duchesne, of Wilson Wil-son & Halverson to operate between Salt Lake and Heber by way of Provo, the Salt Lako Stage company to operate between be-tween Provo and Duchesne and J. S. Frontages to operate between Duchesne, Vernal and Salt Lake, via Provo. The application of the Hadley Transfer oompar.v to operate a freight line between be-tween Salt Lake and Brighton will be heard next Tuesday. A hearli g on the petition of the citizens citi-zens of Sigurd for a station on the Den-ver Den-ver & Rio Grande railroad will be heard there or. June 10, and there will be a hearing, in Moab on the petition of the Moab Light & Power company to increase in-crease their rates on June 10 in Moab. |
