OCR Text	Show PET COYOTE KILLED BY POLICE OFFICER Special to The Tribune. OGDEN, May 21. A pet coyote was killed at noon today after he had gnawed a strap in two and wandered into the open fields near the east end of the city. "While the coyote was enjoying his liberty lib-erty the mothers in the vicinity were calling their children into the homes, not knowing that the animal was a yet, and feared that it was afflicted with rabies. A telephone call to the police station -brought Detective Hubert Chambers to the scene in a hurry. The officer found ! the coyote asleep under some brush near j by and killed it.
