Senator McNary would Install an aeroplane forest fire protection system at Portland, according ac-cording to a letter received from him today to-day bv Milton R. Klepper, president of the Aero club of Oregon, in response to the club's request for the establishment of the aeroplane fire patrol through cooperation co-operation with the forest service. The greatest difficulty in the establishment establish-ment of the aeroplane patrol at the present pres-ent time Is t,he scarcity of trained mechanics me-chanics who could properly care for the government planes. Senator McNary said.
