Notice is hereby givon lht sealed pro- i posals will be received at the oflice of the Board of County Commiasionera, Room No. 15b, City and County Buildhm, Salt Lake City, Utah, according- to plans , on file in the oflice of the Cuun ly Purveyor, Pur-veyor, until 10 o'clock a. m., Wednesday, June 4, l'JIH. Bids- will be opened publicly pub-licly at 11 o'clock a. m., June 4, 1919, for the construction of a roadway IS feet wide: Commencing at brick school - house in the town of la rk, fcalt Lako count;.-, and following follow-ing the oid Dalton & Lark tramway grade (.roughly 5 per cent) to what is 'termed jjalton Xo. 2 shaft of the Bingham Alines Company, a distance of about IS, 000 feet Thence along the present wagon road and roughly on a o per cent grade, a distance of about- 12,000 feet lo near the coiiar of the old Brooklyn shaft. Thence on about a 6 per cent grade to -the summit or tad-: tad-: die dividing branches from j Yoseinite and Bear gulches, a distance of about 7,000 feet j Thence from said summit or saddle down to a connection with the present wagon road in Betir gulch (soutli of Copperiield), a distance of aoout 5,000 feet Making a total distance of approximately 42,000 feet , Instructions to bidders, together with plans, specifications, form of contract aud bond, may be obtained at the office of the County Surveyor. Bids will be received for the above work under one contract or in four separate sepa-rate contracts dividing the distances as above specified. The Board of County Commissioners has and hereby reserves the right to reject re-ject any or all bids, or to accept any bid 1 which the board deems betl aud waive minor defects.
