Show FOLEY U. S. MARKET EVANGEL IN BRITAIN WASHINGTON, May 21. Edward A. Foley of San Francisco has been appointed appoint-ed to represent the United States bureau of markets in the United Kingdom, the department of agriculture announced today, to-day, as tho first agricultural trade commissioner com-missioner sent abroad. He will sail for Liverpool May 24, to commence an investigation in-vestigation of farm products distribution there, with a view to developing markets for American agricultural produce. Mr. Foley served as solicitor for the enforcement enforce-ment division of the food administration during the war, and prior to that did legal work which involved extensive investigation investiga-tion into problems of food exportation and importation. |
