Show SALMON IS PREPARING FOR DECORATION DAY Special to The Tribune. SALMON, Idaho. May 21. A feature ot the Memorial day program here will be the showering of flowers on the waters of the Salmon river, in memory of the sailor dead of- the navy. This ceremony will take place at the bridge over the river, and will be preceded by a prayer by the Rev. R. S. Stringfellow of the Episcopal church, A program will be held at the opera house at 2 p. m. on Memorial day, the arrangements being under the direction of Commander Giles of the G. A. R. post. Dr. O. T. Stratton and Senator E. W. Whitcomb will be the speakers, and j Mayor Giennon will preside. A parade led by the municipal band will follow the exercises and returned service men. War Mothers Relief corps and Red Cross workers will figure prominently prom-inently in this feature. The line of march will end at the cemetery where the graves wfll be decorated. |
