The largest affair of last week was the evening party at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Holt, In honor of their daughter. Sylvia. The house was effectively decorated in lavender sweet peas and ferns. Tlie living-room was arranged for dancing and the first part of the evening was spent in this amusement. An interesting program pro-gram was given, after which luncheon was served to twenty couples, Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Mayfield of San Francisco spent a few days in Farming-ton Farming-ton during the week, guests of Mr. and Mrs. William May field. Mr. and Mrs. Mayfield are on their way to Garland, where they will spend a short time. A surprise party was given Wedncsda? evening by Miss Ivy Wesson and M iss Elise Glover, in honor of Ernest Walpoh at his home in Centerville. The evening was- spent in cards and games.
