The Sacred Heart nlumnae met Sunday Sun-day afternoon with Mrs. Raymond P. Morrissey. The Historical society met this afternoon after-noon at tiie Conservatory of Music with Mrs. Pv. P. Hunter 'and Mrs. S. S. Smith as hostesses. It was an open meeting and the annual St. Patrick's program was rarried out. At roll call each member mem-ber of the club responded -with a. quotation quo-tation from the prominent poets of ire-land. ire-land. Mrs. George H. Matson, who was chairman of the program, gave an excellent ex-cellent paper on "Why Ireland Should Have Home Rule." Mrs. J. P. Dlnneen gave vocal solos, followed by a reading entitled "Will My Soul Go Through Ireland Ire-land or. My Way to Heaven?" The Irish folk dance and" the Hprhig dance, given by Miss Katherine Shufflebarger, were a pleasing feature of the pre gram. The Home Culture club met Thursday afternoon with Mrs. O. A. Parmley. The subject was "Turkey." with Mrs. W. K. Moore as leader, assisted by Mrs. J. F. tfobhs, Mrs. Paul Frankc, Mrs. T. W. Horn and Mrs. Herbert Hessler. The Anaeadae club of the high school gave a party this evening- in the school assembly hall. Games, dancing and refreshments re-freshments were features of the entertainment. enter-tainment.
