The steamship Plattsburg arrived from Brest today with 2175 American troops, twenty-five wves of soldiers, twenty wives of sailors, and 150 naval officers and men. . There were about HOC other casuals. Including negroes. With forty-six officers and 1000 men of the 348th Infantry of the Eighty-seventh division (national army, Arkansas, Louisiana, .Mississippi), tho steamship Chicago arrived today from Bordeaux. Thepo troops comprise the 348th field and -staff, headquarters of First and Third 'battalicns, headquarters and supply companies, com-panies, sanitary detachment and seven I L-ompanies.
