SALT LAKE may lie selected as a landing place iu a cross-country airplaue flight from Mather field, Sacramento, Cal., according to a communication com-munication received yesterday at the Commercial club from Captain T. S. Voss, adjutant. The officer stated that he has contemplated making a trip from Mather field to Salt Lako -with four De Haviland machines, equipped with tho famous Liberty motors, the trip to be made in tho near future The Commercial club will appoint a committee, consisting of former flying officers, to comply with the request of the officer asking ask-ing for information regarding landing land-ing places, weather conditions, etc.
