Show QUIGLEY DESCRIBES CADLEBD1SPATCH Tells of Gratifying Results Obtained at the Eastern Shows. Summarizes Great Advance in Motor Design This Car Heralds. Politely admonishing all "Victory" show visitors to seu the Chandler exhibit ex-hibit ami extending an invitation to make; the (.'handler booth their head-quarters head-quarters during show week, C. A. Quig-ley, Quig-ley, Chandler distributor Cor the inter-mountain inter-mountain section, went on to say: "Introduced at a time when the- interest in-terest of the whole country was focused, fo-cused, not on its own personal neodB, but the demands of the nation at war, tho Chandler Dispatch, which made its debut in l'J 18, was given ita first real chance to exert its influence unhampered unham-pered on the American automobile market mar-ket with tho automobile shows this year. "And to say that the results have been gratifying, according to the officials of-ficials of the Chandler Motor Car company, com-pany, its builders, is putting it mildly. "Both at Chicago and New iork tho sales of Chandler Dispatch made at the show exhibits more than doubled the number ever before made by tho Chandler dealers at these two points, dospito tho fact that both of these events were local and not national shows, as in years past. "Throughout the cast and central west great activity has been experi-enco'd experi-enco'd by Chandler dealers and the Dumber of cars on order at the factory, as well as tho daily shipment of cars to dealers for immediate delivery exceed ex-ceed the records of any previous year. "Tho Chandler Dispatch was mentioned men-tioned as the forerunner of a new fashion in motor cars when it was first introduced. Critics All Agree. "It was said ' by the critics who viewed it that it was more than a season ahead in the style it sponsored, although they predicted that the body type was the eventual design to which the industry was gravitating. "How true this prediction proved was at once apparent to the visitot at the eastern automobile shows. In some way or other almost every car exhibited exhibit-ed bore a trace of this design. Some had the beveled panels, others the eharp corners, otherB the high cowls all of which go to make up what has been called Dispatch design. "But only one of them possessed all of the distinctive characteristics which in their composite go to make up the aerotype body. And that was the Chandler Dispatch. "But there is a great deal more to the Chandler Dispatch than simply an attractive and novel body design. The name is descriptive of tho motor and chassis as well. "Every important contribution to automotive engineering developed during dur-ing and by the war has been added to the Chandler nechanism. It is in every sense the first postwar car, auT brings j such vital contributions to tho science of automobile building that it is said to change all former conceptions of what may be expected of a motor car i by way of performance."
