MOTOR MERC. CO. TO FEITOREHR TUBES Manager McMullen Calls Motorists' Attention to Accessories and Show. The auto show comes this year at a particularly advantageous time for the Motor Mercantile company, as this well known house is just ready to offer to the trade a tube under its own name and brand. "We feel," said A. D. McMullen, president of the company, yesterday, "that the auto show will help us measurably mea-surably to introduce this fine piece of goods'. We have assurances from all over the state that dealers sre fjoiug to run into Salt Lake for at least a day or so not only to take in the auto show, but to take care of the many important things incident to the automobile and accessory business' which need firsthand first-hand attention. We confidently look for a week of splendid business. "Our inner tube will be known to the trade as the Motile tube. We feel, at last," confided Mr. McMullen, "that we have one of the finest pieces of goods ever offered by a local or foreign house. You may rest assured that before be-fore we put our brand and name on a new tube we did a erreat deal of ex perimenting and testing. "We have been just as" exacting in our specifications covering this tube as our experts know how to be. It has taken fully six months for us to satisfy ourselves that we have a commodity that is positively unexcelled in its class. We know now that the Motile is just that sort of goods. "Wo have not only insisted op the use of pure gum in tiie manufacture of the tube, and that it be finished with the finest of workmanship, but we have been equally careful about its style of pack. We confidently believe that this feature will prove a distinctive selling point. , "Under our method of packing there is not a single crease in the tube. It is carefully rolled into the box and fully supported at points to prevent all creasing. The tube is thus securely hold in place without crushing. This feature, together with an artistic carton, makes the Motile tube distinctly attractive in its pack. ' ' We shall be prepared to furnish these tubes to the trade in tho very near future. Shipments are on the way and expected momentarily. "We are glad to see the interest that is taken by a number of the manufacturers manufac-turers whose lines we represent in the west, in the opportunities for business afforded in Utah and the surrounding states. These firms are on the eve of extensive advertising campaigns for their respective commodities."
