Show Uniforms Designed. WASHINGTON, March 8. Uniforms resembling those worn by the regular navy sailors, but having distinctive insignia, in-signia, have been designed by the shipping ship-ping board for the apprentices training at the various school ships. An embroidered embroi-dered anfhor under the national shield, j worked into the cloth of the blouse j pocket, arid two broad white stripes on i collar and cuff instead of three narrow j chips, as worn by the navy, will constitute consti-tute the insignia by which one may riis-rimlnate riis-rimlnate between the men of the merchant mer-chant marine and tho men of Lho navy. |
