Abercromble, Boston representatives in the company's official household, departed de-parted for the East yesterday, promising prom-ising to roturn ut a later period in the season, and when they may revel In the waters of the lake without recourse re-course to sealsldns. The wealth that has been added to the Boston Con.'s resources, tho equipment which has boon installed for the economic extraction extrac-tion of Its ores, the ease with which the present contract with the valles' smelter Is helng compiled with, and the manner in which unexplored territory has rosponded to the blast of giant since last October, when tho properties were Inspected by Mr. Schirmer, have been a revelation to him, and with these assets being hourly added to, he cees nothing to antagonize results as big as any achieved In tho camp of copper. Mr. Schirmer went away a more fervid advocate of a smelter than when he came, and, with means with which to construct, he sees nothing to occasion delay. In this Director Abercromble Aber-cromble was equally urgent, while President Newhouse, who Is accompanying accompa-nying the visitors as far as Denver, and who will roturn to Salt Lake on Thursday next, says an ultimatum will have been reached before they separate In Colorado. He did concede that the American members of the board are working in perfect harmony, and intimated inti-mated that ho had no desire to oppose tbo majority. The visitors mado many friends In town and at camp, who will await their return and tidings from the proposed pro-posed smalter. |
