Show 7xoro Id An ArtQVJQ? "y NORMAN VINCENT PEALE and RUTH STAFFORD PEALE Q. God took from me the only man I've ever loved and I've had cancer and lost my left leg. How does one believe that things will turn out right? It's already too late! How does one go on thinking positive thoughts? How? I wish it were that simple. It's easy to believe when things go along well in your life, but when things seem to build up from childhood from bad to worse-It Isn't easy! I wish I had that unquestioning faith! A. We agree that it is easier to believe that things will go well when they are going well. But faith was made, not just for easy going, but to be used when the going is tough, really tough. Now, let us correct you, in all kindness. God did not take the only man you ever loved. He died of one of the ways in which men die. And likewise your physical problem; God did not do that to you either. Always remember it is never too late to rebuild, even if the rebuilding is terribly difficult. dif-ficult. Our suggestion is, start seeing an improved condition. Believe that God is helping you. Believe that you have the spiritual power to create a better life. Nobody has a completely unquestioning faith. Just take what little faith you may have, like a grain of mustard seed, for example, and know that "all things are possible to him that believeth." We have a booklet, 'Try Faith and Watch What Happens', Hap-pens', which has helped others with questions such as yours, and a copy of it is on its way to you.
