Show Building Dispute? i By GARY R. BLODCETT A subdivision development dispute between two Bountiful Boun-tiful builders continued Wed nesday night when Mike Holmes appeared before he City Council for clarification about his problems in the dispute. MR. HOLMES told the council that he had done all he had been required to do -including the purchase of additional ad-ditional property from Hospital Hospi-tal Corporation of America but still could not get final approval for development. "My proposal received preliminary approval a month ago. but I'm being delayed in my development because of problems of another developer planning a small subdivision adjacent to mine," he said, "I don't think this is fair. I have a project that can be developed with or without development of adjacent ad-jacent property." THE DISPUTE arose last week when the council told Dr. Gale Armstrong to work with Mr. Homes for a suitable solution to development of both projects by sharing costs for an access road to 800 East. Meanwhile, Mr. Holmes purchased additional property to aid in the development of his subdivision sub-division by providing an additional ad-ditional access road to 650 East. "I'M WILLING to work with Dr. Armstrong, but I don't see why I'm the one to always have to give n his matter I've done all I m required to do and more ye S Sncil delayed final approval of my plat so I can start development." he said. The council denied the development of Dr. Armstrong, Arms-trong, first because he has Sned a downhill culdesac and then because his access ?oad, which leads through the Holmes subdivision, was too long to meet city ordinance specifications or fha approval. SO THE two developers were asked to share costs for an access road to 800 East. But thus far this has not been done. .
