Show VJcods Cross Greg Van Zweden has been at Lakeview Hospital undergoing under-going tests and observation for a recent illness. Sorry to have the John Has-na Has-na family leave the area. They have moved to Maple Hills in Bountiful and will be missed by their many friends in the Briarwood area. Mrs. Judy Bowen is recuperating from surgery performed recently at Lakeview Hospital. She is the wife of Charles Bowen. Her father, Elton Falor was recently reported in the hospital, hospi-tal, but is improved and recuperating at home. The girls' Softball program on City Park is fast growing to a close. One more week of league play, then two teams will be chosen to participate in the Davis County Elementary League Tournament. The Junior High League has just one week left also, with games played at Farmington each Wednesday. Top winners in this league which include representation from four cities, ci-ties, will be determined after the last game. Woods Cross has two teams in this league. Kathryn Keiffer, daughter of Ken and Mary Lou, is at home after undergoing major surgery at a Salt Lake City hospital. Get well wishes are sent her way. Erin Mattes, daughter of Richard and Bea Mattes, and Erin Anderson, daughter of Brent and Kaye Anderson, have enjoyed two weeks of tours with the girl scout groups. A bus load of scouts traveled to Southern Utah where they visited the national parks, enjoyed en-joyed a river run on the Colorado, watched rehearsals for the Shakespearean Festival Fes-tival in Cedar City, among other interesting and varied activities of camping. Mrs. Winifred Hunter is at home after spending numerous days at LDS Hospital Hospi-tal in Salt Lake City undergoing undergo-ing tests and observation for a recent illness. |
