Show It was a Val Verda wedding on June 15 between Kristine Lewis, daughter of H. LeGrande and Shirley Lewis 537W. 2900S. and Craig Olson, son of Earl and Verne Olson 3148 S. Crestview Cir. They were feted at a wedding breakfast at the Lion House and a reception at the bride's parents. Young Adults of the Second Ward enjoyed a foosball and croquet party at Woodbury's home. Each member brought a potluck dish that begins with one of their initials. Special Interests fireside last week featured speaker Margaret Laister, a convert to 4 theChurch from England. 4 VV Second Ward's brass band paraded by homes in the area with a serenade at 6a.m. on July 4 to awaken them in . time to attend the annual breakfast. Congratulations to Ann Keysor who graduated from . Utah State University in wildlife science. She will be employed with the Bureau of Land Management. Also Kudos to Eric Tanner who was one of four students at Weber State to receive special recog- nition in the field of zoology at his graduation. Young Adults of the region had a "4 for all activity 4 including an "Anything You 4 Can Do I Can Do Better" with 4 guys vs. gals activities and an 4 attempt at setting a CJuinnes record in the human pyramid. Von Holgreen did well in the Fxplorer Olympics recently with a first place in shot put and third in discus. The Gerald Holgreen family has been entertaining Wendy Davies from Burnham, Bucks, England. Barbara Terry graduated from Utah State University in art education. She also was recognized for her contribu- 4 tions in student government. 4 Welcome in the neigh- borhood to newlyweds Lee and Nancie Spencer who live in the basement apt. at 2974 S.625W. J Lee was raised on a ranch in Fscalante. He works for SL . transportation (Yellow Cabs and Grayline Tours) as an ac- countant. Nancie works for the state Board of Education in data processing. She was born and rnised in Palmyra, N.Y. |
