His corporate assignments in many areas will also continue. con-tinue. He joined KSL Television in January 1969 as supervisor of Commercial and Public Service Ser-vice Production. He was later named administrative assistant assis-tant to the President of KSL, Inc. and operations manager. More recently he was appointed ap-pointed administrative assistant assis-tant to Mr. Lloyd while still working as operations manager. PRIOR TO joining KSL-TV, Mr. Abbott was program director and director of operations for KL YD in Pakersfield, California. He began his broadcasting career in 1959 as a film editor at KFPO-T.V in Bakersfield.' L.K. Abbott is a member of the Salt Lake County Association As-sociation for Retarded Children. Mr. Abbott and his wife Mary have two children, a married daughter and one son. He was born in Mesquite, Nevada in 1920, raised and educated in Las Vegas schools and attended Dixie Junior College. |
