Show Fishers Swim With Olympic Swimmers Two young Bountiful swimmers, Evan and Dale Ann Fisher, are enjoying a once in a life-time experience this summer, living in San Ramon, California and participating par-ticipating in daily workouts at the Danville Swimming Pool where the Olympic swimmers are training this summer. MR. AND Carl Fisher had found the opportunity for their two youngsters to workout under the pres-tigeous pres-tigeous coach, Bill Radley of Danville. They' wrote to him and asked how it could take place and Mr. Radley gave them all the help and encouragement en-couragement he could so Evan and Dale Ann could work out with his club. The two make their home with Mike and Judy Jural, who also have two swimmers, on the Danville crew. They all go to workouts together, then enjoy the beauty of the San Francisco area in the spare hours. The experience of workouts with such outstanding outstand-ing swimmers and the opportunity oppor-tunity to be coached by Mr. Radley has been a choice experience for the two. EVAN AND Dale Ann competed com-peted in their first meet this past weekend since their arrival in California the first part of June. The meet was an international meet, held at Santa Clara. Contestants numbered 6,700 and brought swimmers from as far away as Germany and Japan. Dale Ann was a member of the famed Danville relay team which has the distinction distinc-tion of breaking the Pacific-American Pacific-American record in the 400 freestyle relay in the 11-12 age group. EVAN TELLS his parents that the most exciting part of each day for him is swimming swim-ming next to Joe Bottom, the Olympic backstroker. So, for two young people who are not only learning more about their sport, an education in people and country is also included.
