Show A' mrs. scott Mcdonald June Ceremony Julie Newman and Scott McDonald were married in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on June 16 by Hartman Rector Jr. THE BRIDE is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth D. Newman of 1227 S. 1300 E., Bountiful. Mr. and Mrs. Delmont McDonald of Ogden are parents of the bridegroom. The couple was honored at a wedding breakfast at the Red Flame and a reception at the Carillon. THE BRIDE wore a white organza gown with ruffled sleeves and neckline and train. It featured a fitted bodice. Her flowers were yellow and white roses and daisies. Kristine N. Day, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Laura Newman and Amy Newman. They wore gowns of pale green voile with beige lace inserts in the sleeves and bodice and skirt. They carried baskets of daisies and roses. MOTHERS of the couple wore light beige and flowers were roses and baby breath. Brent McDonald acted as best man. PRENUPTIAL parties were given by Ronna C. Fisher, Donna Rae Carlson and Alice McDonald. The bride attended Bountiful Boun-tiful High and graduated from Utah State University. She has taught at Hill Field Elementary in the third grade for two and a half years. SCOTT graduated from Weber State College and is currently working on his masters degree. He works for Burroughs Business Machines Co. He filled an LDS mission to Georgia, Florida. After a honeymoon to San Francisco, they are making their home in Ogden. |
