Show Saturday Rites Are Scheduled Joan Swapp Fillmore, age 28, of Salt Lake City, died July 13, 1977 in a Salt Lake hospital of diabetis. SHE WAS born March 17, 1949 at Provo, Utah to Morris F. and Afton McDonald Swapp. She married Bill J. Fillmore on July 7, 1975. SHE WAS a graduate of Bountiful High, attended BYU and Weber State University, graduated from the LDS Business College with an associates as-sociates degree in fashion coordination. She was a member of the LDS Church and was a Relief Society instructor. SHE WAS the loan executive of the 1974-75 75-76 United Way organization, fashion coordinator coor-dinator at Sears downtown store, former president of the organization of the Blind of Salt Lake City and was a popular speaker In Sacrament Meetings and firesides throughout the valley. She is survived by her husband hus-band of Salt Lake City; parents, Mayor and Mrs. Morris Swapp of Bountiful, a brother, Edward Swapp of Bountiful and a grandmother, Mrs. Mary Swapp of Provo. I JOAN SWAPP FILLMORE FUNERAL services will be held Saturday, July 16 at 11 a.m. in the Bountiful 36th Ward Chapel, 1400 South 1st East. Friends may call at the Russon Rus-son Brothers Bountiful Mortuary Mor-tuary Friday 7-9 p.m. and Saturday Sa-turday 9: 30-10: 30 a.m. INTERMENT will be in the Provo City Cemetery. |
