Show Miss Deon Robinson Plights Troth In Temple Ceremony Miss Deon Robinson of Parowan Paro-wan and George R. Williams of La Verkin, exchanged marriage vows in the St. George L. D. S. Temple last Saturday morning with President Harold S. Snow of the tompj.c officiating in the rites. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D Robinson of this city and the bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. George R. Williams Wil-liams of the Washington County city. The newly married couple were honored that same evening at a reception in the Relief Society rooms of the First-Second Ward chapel here after which they left for a honeymoon trip in the mountains of this area. They will make their home in Cedar City where Mr. Williams will go to school and Mrs. Williams will be employed at the Iron County Hospital. The bride was attended at the reception by Miss Yvonne Benson Ben-son as maid of honor, and Miss Virginia Topham and Miss Lola Williams, sister of the groom, as bridesmaids. Tom Christensen of Aurora stood as best man for the bridegroom. Paul E. Felt, director of the L D S Institute at Cedar City was master of ceremonies at the program which was held as part of the reception. The bride is a graduate of the Parowan High School and has attended at-tended the College of Southern Utah for two years and been employed em-ployed at the county hospital In school she was active in music and has served as organist for the Third Ward Sunday School for a number of years and Is at the present time organist for Parowan Par-owan Stake. the Korean War as a member of the National Guard and has fulfilled ful-filled a mission in the Great Lakes mission. He is.a graduate of Hurricane High Sch'ool and attended at-tended C S U last year. ( |
