Bowlers receive honors The His and Hers Mixed Doubles League held its annual banquet, Thursday at the Lamplighter Inn. Nabbing awards were: first place team, Stone and Murray; second place team, Fairchild and Fairchild; team high game scratch, Floyd and Simper, 700; team high game handicap, Curtis and Batty, 817; team high series scratch, Stone and Murray, 2113; team high series handicap, Boren and Davis, 2311; men's high game scratch, Gary Simper, 235; men's high game handicap, han-dicap, Boyd Davis, 262; men's high series scratch, Jim Huff, 635; men's high series handicap, Kent Boren, 630; women's high game scratch, Nita Boren, 213; women's high game handicap, han-dicap, Patty Rocha, 255; women's high series scratch, Phyllis Fry, 547; women's high series handicap, Doris Huff, 631; most improved man, Jim Huff 11 pins; most improved woman, Kim Bullock, 14 pins; last place team, Snow and Warren and perfect attendance, Mike Haakinson, Jackie Haakinson, David Haakinson and -Vickie Batty. New officers for the 1981-82 season were elected and they are: Jim Lube, president; David Haakinson, vice president and Doris Huff, secretary.
