Show i i I Macscr Enid Hatch Phone 789-3150 Elder Hatch testimonial held Mr. and Mrs. Junior Hatch and family, Mrs. Sondra Shipton and girl from Dutch John, Neva Neneth and daughter from Vernal attended the farewell held at the Maeser Second Ward, Sunday, April 19 for Lance Hatch, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Hatch, who has been called to serve a two year LDS mission in California Oakland. He will enter the Mission Training Center Thursday, April 23. Mrs. Doris Mott spent ten days recently at the home of her son, Max Mott, while his wife, Connie was at the hospital. Karlene Merkley from Orem spent Easter weekend at the home of her parents, the Tad Merkleys. Spending the Easter weekend at Roland Merkely's was Mr. and Mrs. Randy Christofferson and daughter from Provo and Louise Goff from Coeur D' Alene, Idaho. Easter Sunday visitors at the Rodney Perry home were Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Van Tassel and children from Tabiona, Mrs. Minnie Morrell from Roosevelt and Mr. and Mrs. Chandler Fisher from Orem. Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Clark Day and Jennifer from Monroe visited over the weekend at the David White home with the Whites and the Russell Day family. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Draude and children from Needles, Calif., are visiting with the Paul Harris family at West Dry Fork. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Beesley, William and Susannah from Draper, Utah spent the weekend with the Grant Hackings and the Berkley Halls. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Hansen and Sharlen from Provo visited with the Douglas Gale family over the Easter weekend. ' Carolyn Cinnamon traveled to Colorado to spend the Easter holiday with her parents. Angela Brogh went to Beaver to be with her family. LeRoy Carroll will be staying at Stewart's Convalescent Villa at Roosevelt. He would like his friends to visit him there. Mike and Barta Senano, children Korina, Mandy, Micky and Billie Joe from Payson visited with Hoy and Carma Bascom. Mrs. Thomas (Dorothy) Taylor and Lynda from Sacramento, Calif., mother and sister of Carolyn Henry, spent last weekend visiting the Chuck and Carolyn and son Tyler. Arvid and Oral Merkley were in Salt Lake City Thursday and Friday on business and a doctor's appointment. While there they visited with Jean Hafety, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Merkley in Murray, Mr. and Mrs. Rell Swenson and Mr. and Mrs. Eastman Christman in Taylorsville. Verla Anderson from Clearfield, Bryce and Marsha Moore, girls Shelly and Angie from Roosevelt, Hyrum and Erma Toone, who are in the process of moving to Vernal from Provo to settle in Ashley, spent Easter at Earl and Myrle Moore's home. Mr. and Mrs. LaGrand Sadler from Magna, Utah visited over the weekend with the Paul Richardson family. Mrs. Clara Birchell and Vera Ann Birchell from Salt Lake City visited at Lucille Richs' while in Maeser. June and LaNay Merkley are back in Maeser after spending the winter in Phoenix, Ariz. Mrs. Morgan (Clara) Merkley was in the hospital a few days and released and made a trip to Salt Lake City for a doctor's checkup April 20 with Mr. Merkley. Mrs. John (Aridalle) Barry from Tetonia, Idaho, visited at the Allen Bodily home helping while Chris was sick. Mike Palmer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Brad Palmer who was hit by a car is at home doing fine. Becky and Britt Beckstead were home over the weekend from USU in Logan with their parents, the Roger Becksteads. Mrs. Cody (Gail) Jenkins and children and Mrs. Blanch Smith left Wednesday, April 15 to spend Easter visiting with the Lorin Fawcett's in Hennifer, Utah and the Jay Burk family at Pocatello, Idaho. Mr. and Mrs. Mel Peterson and ' Sonya have moved to Ashley. Bruce and Sharon (Largent) John-drow John-drow and daughter, Misti, visited at Ivan and Joyce Thomas' from Grand Forks, N.D. They visited with Sharon's sister Janice Largent in Omaha, Neb. In St. Louis, Missouri, they visited Bruce's family. In Kansas, they saw Sharon's father. On their way home they traveled thru the badlands of South Dakota where they saw Mt. Rushmore. |
