Show Clean-up Day set for Ballard The Rallard Town Council has proclaimed Saturday, April 25, as the annual Clean-Up Day in Ballard. On this day, the Ballard Boy Scouts will pick up trash and cans along the roads in Ballard. Residents in the community are urged to clean up their yards BiA vacant lots. Absentee owners of property along Highway 40 and other roads in Ballard, are requested to remove weeds and other unsightly . debris. The garbage collectors will donate their time and equipment on Saturday to collect all trash set out from the clean up campaign that can be put in plastic sacks or garbage cans. It is against Ballard's zoning ordinances or-dinances to have old car bodies stored in residential areas. Persons needing an old car body moved should call the City Building, 722-2401, and arrangements will be made to move it to the junkyard. The Ballard Town Council is 1 establishing a clean-up date, stated that they would like to have Ballard a clean, neat community with the residents taking pride in the appearance ap-pearance of the streets and buildings. |
