Many of our local businesses have joined those nationwide in donating goods and services to the event. Gary Slagel, Chairman of the Chapter, announced that Woodey B. Searle will again donate his services as auctioneer. The Uintah Basin Chapter is one of over 1,100 chapters across America to hold such fund raising evenings. Out of every dollar raised by Ducks Unlimited, 80 cents is used to reserve wetland breeding habitat for ducks and other waterfowl. Although the efforts of the past have contributed greatly to whistling wings for the future, the need for additional habitat is becoming more critical daily. Ducks Unlimited offers everyone an opportunity to help preserve waterfowl for the future and donations are tax deductable. Everyone is invited to attend the banquet, ban-quet, and the ticket price includes a membership in Ducks Unlimited and a subscription to the magazine. Information Informa-tion and tickets can be obtained from any of the committeemen: Gary Slagel Chairman, Ken Harper, Gail Herrmann, Herr-mann, Neldon Kunz, Don Smith, Brady Green, Jim Glenn, Steve Madsen, or Dave Olsen. |
