Show ' v. y L 1 1 , X BOUNTIFUL AREA PAGEANT BOUNTIFUL - Blonde-blue-eyed Jacque Tingey, of Centerville, is the 1983 queen of Bountiful Area Scholarship Pageant held last Friday night in the Viewmont High School auditorium. ' MISS TINGEY, daughter of Ron and Karen Alvey, is a country western singer who recently re-cently returned from Nashville, Nashvil-le, Tenn., after completing a six-months engagement with Royalty of the Bountiful Area Scholarship Pageant, sponsored last Friday night by the Bountiful Area Chamber of Commerce, are front row, Janet Hirschi, first attendant; Queen Jacque Tingey; and Bridget Brid-get Forbush, second attendant. Back row' Rodabough, fourth attendant; atten-dant; and Kelly Child, third attendant. Opryland, USA. She was also voted "Miss Photogenic" and was judged winner of the talent contest. She is attending LDS Business Busi-ness College and plans to attend Brigham Young University Uni-versity this fall. NAMED first attendant was Janet Hirschi, daughter of Frank and Carol Hirschi of Centerville. She was also judged best in the swim suit competition and was chosen "Miss Congeniality" by vote of the other contestants. Other attendants were Bridget Ann Forbush, daughter daugh-ter of Vernon and Ann Forbush, For-bush, of Bountiful, second attendant; Kelly Ann Child, daughter of Ray and Ann Child, Bountiful, third attendant; atten-dant; and Kim Rodabaugh, daughter of Harry and Karyl Rodabough of Woods Cross, fourth attendant. MISS TINGEY sang a selection selec-tion of songs to win the talent division. She was crowned by Susan Jackson, of Farmington, who has served as "Miss Bountiful Area 1982." Other contestants were Neisha Green, Bountiful; Kimberly Grayson, Centerville; Center-ville; Sandra Sheri Hislop, Bountiful; Audrey Thompson, Bountiful; Janee Black, Farmington; Farm-ington; and Susan Parkin, Woods Cross. |
