Show Searchers Find Body Of A Mam CENTERVILLE - The body of a man believed to be missing in the foothills east of Centerville since last Novem- , ber was found by searchers j Saturday morning. DAVIS COUNTY Sheriffs Department, conducting the mammoth search by area residents, resi-dents, confirmed that a body had been found and an autopsy is being performed to provide positive identification. 7 A spokesman for the department depart-ment did, however, say "all indications point to the possibility possi-bility that the body is that of the man missing from Center-ville." Center-ville." BRYANT Evenson, 213 E. 1200 N., Centerville, disappeared dis-appeared last Nov. 26. His parked car was found a short distance from where the body was found. More than 100 searchers from stakes of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints gathered for the mammoth mam-moth search and the body was found less than an hour later in a gully about 150 yards north of Centerville Canyon near the city's water storage tank. BOUNTIFUL Jeep Posse and the Sheriffs Department Jeep Patrol, along with several friends and relatives joined in the search. Heavy snow storms covered the area shortly after the man was reported missing and only a few brief searches were carried car-ried out at that time. Law officers offic-ers said at this time they do not expect foul play. |
